It was very difficult not to keep this piece! An incredible Victorian Scottish agate bracelet in sterling silver with a padlock clasp. The clasp is set with carnelian on one side and on the reverse is encased beautifully woven hair.
During the Victorian era, Scottish agate jewelry became extremely popular because of Queen Victoria's love of all things Scottish (it seems I share that at least in common with the monarch!).
