Beautiful and very unusual gold filled mesh Victorian bracelet circa 1870s-1880s with a butterfly or moth slide.
The bracelet is adjustable by moving the slide along the chain to achieve the desired length. A pearl and garnet glass encrusted moth or butterfly adorns the slide.
I've never seen one with a slide like this!

The bracelet expands up to 10" circumference and can be adjusted down to as small as needed.

Lovely condition overall with some minor age-related wear and patina. Some small places of wear to the gold fill, and a spot that looks slightly pressed flat, as shown. The slide has some nicks in it--a scratch on the top surface, and a deeper one in the top edge, perhaps from being filed. These are note noticeable when worn.
