The beautiful kit includes a variety of steel sewing tools with mother of pearl handles. A sterling silver thimble in the case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1898.
The box itself is fantastic! From its octagonal shape, to the vibrant green silk and velvet interior, I fell in love with everything about it.

Lovely antique condition overall with some minor age-related wear. Some of the steel shows patina and signs of exposure to moisture over the years. The box is in great working condition and the silk interior is still very beautiful, though the wording that possibly indicated the original maker or location of purchase has faded.
