Super cool Willson tinted glasses, likely a precursor to sunglasses, often called "goggles."
I have personally seen references to "sun glasses" as early as the 1890s, just not very often.
These were frequently advertised as sun goggles or protective eyewear for driving (see photos for examples of advertisements from 1927 to 1932).
What makes these unique is the green color of the lenses! I have never seen a pair in this particular shade.
I believe these date from around the 1920s.
The frames celluloid/plastic and the lenses are tinted glass (not prescription).

Very good condition with minimal age-related wear. The lenses are in good condition with no major chips or scratches. Still look great!
These are wearable with care at your own risk (the lenses are made of glass, and therefore do not meet modern safety regulations).
