1890s-1900s Women's Motoring Coat / Duster

Very cute women's motoring coat or traveling duster. This piece dates from the turn of the century, and could be late 1890s to early 1900s.

Some of the covered buttons are worn, the fabric mostly gone.

The fabric feels like a cotton linen blend.

19" armpit to armpit, laid flat

This duster was very well loved and worn. There are some small holes throughout, as well as some stains. Small seam separation in one armpit, about an inch long. 

There is a faint odor from storage, and I have not washed this piece.

Strong enough to wear with care.
