I will probably be kicking myself for selling this coat! Circa late 1910s, possibly very early 1920s, it is in pristine condition and is so soft.
The plush faux fur is wonderful and warm, and it is lined with a beautiful cotton/cotton blend print.
The sleeves can be worn down or rolled up (as in the photos) to show off that gorgeous lining. I love the belt as well, which is threaded through the back of the coat and closes with a snap on one side and a button/loop on the other.
Faux fur buttons close with loops on one side down the front. A wide collar can be worn down or buttoned up closer to the neck for more warmth.
Made by The Keller-Kohn Co. (formerly Fried Keller-Kohn Co.), the original tag is present and indicates it as their "Sterling" line. I was able to find a handful of advertisements for this line dating from 1917, and I have included two images of these in the photos of this listing.
Oh, and it has deep pockets!

Lovely condition! Really pristine, it smells clean as if it were brand new.
Two minor issues worth noting:
- The original elastic loops for the buttons have lost their elasticity. They still hold the buttons in place, but with more use I think there is a risk they will break. Could easily be replaced.
- In the lining where the belt threads through, there are some loose stitches on one side.
Overall this piece is incredible, sturdy, clean, and absolutely wearable!
