Beautiful strapless lace brassiere circa 1920s with elastic band.
Tag reads: "Lucile" Brassiere. I was able to find mention of this brand in several newspaper advertisements dating from the 1910s to 1920s.
One double set of hook and eye closures at the back very similar to a modern bra.

Good condition overall, with minor age related wear and a faint stain on the front (I have not tried to remove this).
The elastic still has some stretch but in general elastic does not hold up well, so I would not recommend this piece for normal wear. Likely best for study or careful wear for a photo shoot.
