A striking silk black and white striped dress with red accent buttons circa 1912. The bodice is lined with cotton and the elbow length sleeves are layered with a net lace sleeve beneath the outer sleeve.
Gorgeous red buttons accent the bodice and down the length of both sides of the skirt. Matching red piping accents the bodice as well. Hook and and eye and hook and thread closures down the back of bodice and side of skirt.
A very beautifully constructed piece to display or reconstruct!

Fair condition for her age but best for study or display. The silk is thinning in spots and there are some holes, tears and small stains.
However, she presents beautifully and appears to have not been worn much. The lining is in great condition and all of the closures are present.
