This extraordinary silk shawl circa 1900s-1910s is one of the most beautiful examples of this style I have ever seen!
Typically you see them in white or ivory and sometimes in black, but I have never come across one in this colorway before.
I thought this piece was perfect for the spring season, with its lovely pastel palette of pale yellow, blue, lavender, and pink.
There are no closures, as it is meant to be worn as a wrap. It could be pinned in the front or left open. I love the tassels on the back and the hand knotted fringe.
A one of a kind piece.

Good condition overall with a a few flaws to note:
- Some faint stains throughout, as shown. I have not spot treated or cleaned this piece.
- A couple of tiny pinholes, as shown.
- Faint dusty odor from storage I only noticed when steaming the piece.
The silk seems strong and this piece is certainly wearable with care.
