A very witchy 19-teens black silk dress, best for study or display. Love the shape, the pointed collar and skirt panel.
Many snaps and hooks and eyes / bars for closures. Inner bodice lined with white tissue silk. Wide waistband attached belt fastens with snaps at the side and back. Skirt is not lined.
The collar has not been fashioned to stand up, but in this era, a pointed collar, held up with collar stays, would have been quite stylish and not uncommon.

Best for study or display, but overall good condition for its age with some notable flaws. The cream silk bodice lining is stained and torn. Missing a few snaps and hook/bar closures. A few small holes and loose seams.
