This wonderful catalog c. 1890 was published by the National Casket Company and features all manner of beautiful casket hardware.
It was later made into a scrapbook in the early 20th century, with scraps dating into the 1920s.
There are still several pages without scraps that show some of the lovely hardware, including beautifully designed handles, ornaments, and plates with messages like "Our Darling," "The Sad Hour," and "Rest in Peace," among many others.
I find it quite unusual that such a catalog would have been turned into a scrapbook. Was it done by the child of someone who worked in the funeral industry? In any case, it is a fabulous, one of a kind book for your collection!

The book measures 16" x 9 5.8" x 1" and seems to have over 100 pages, though I have not counted. The pages number up to 144, but there are some missing.

Fair condition overall with loose binding, wear to the cover, and some torn and missing pages.
