Unusual gold filled mesh chain circa late 19th century. Originally used as a watch chain, this makes for a really lovely and unique necklace.
On one end there is a gold filled dog clip and on the other there is a gold tone split ring. Charms, fobs, or pendants can be added to the split ring (more easily done with pliers to pull apart the ring due to the stiffness of the metal).
