This EPIC beaver hat with ostrich feathers is one of the best hats I've ever come across! It reminds me very much of the three musketeers :)
Dating from around the early 1910s, it has survived in remarkably good condition!

With larger inner circumference, I believe this was meant to fit over a larger pile of hair :)
Approximately 25" inner band circumference

Hat measures 16" by 15.5"
The longest feather is around 32" long

Lovely condition overall with some minor age related wear. The inner lining has a tear, but this doesn't really affect wear/display.
There may be some small loss to the beaver fur, but it is not really noticeable and I can't honestly tell, as I do not have much experience with beaver. Regardless, I do not see any obvious wear or balding. The feathers shed some.
There's a place on the top/side that perhaps once had another adornment sewn in place. There are visible threads, but it is not very noticeable.
