Incredible floor length black dress circa 1910s. The bodice is tissue silk and the skirt is wool. The skirt is very full with gathering at the back.
Bodice buttons down the center front. A kind of sliding closure at the waist (not certain what these are called), and snaps down the skirt.
Bodice has a cotton lining around the top/collar area only. The rest is not lined. There are dress shields in the underarms. Skirt is unlined.

Lovely condition overall with a few flaws to note:
- Some scattered moth holes in the wool skirt, as shown
- A couple of pinhead sized holes in the back of the silk bodice
- A faint odor from storage, smells a bit of old clothing that I usually get with black pieces that may be from the type of dye used
- Bodice is a slightly different color than the skirt, likely faded from age
Definitely still a wearable piece with care.
