Lovely soft, thin cotton lingerie dress circa late 1900s to early 1910s that has been dyed black.
These dresses (often mislabeled as tea gowns) were called lingerie dresses due to the similar fabrics and laces used in undergarments.
It has button closures down the center back and hooks/eyes at the waist. High neck with no closures at the top.
I am not certain when this piece was dyed black (not by me).

Good condition overall with some flaws to note. There are a few holes in the back of the skirt closer to the bottom, one small hole on the front. These are mostly hidden when worn. A few loose threads here and there. Small lace break on one cuff.
Wearable with care. I have hand washed this piece. There may be some dye loss so if you do wash this piece, do it separate from other items.
