An absolutely stunning, one of a kind piece! This silk chiffon chartreuse cape has so many incredible details. Circa late 1910s to 1920s.
So much gorgeous shirring all the way around, which gives shape and body to the ethereal, wispy chiffon.
Attached at the collar is a flower garland.

Presents beautifully but there are many flaws in the fabric, including tears, holes, and a few faint stains. See photos for the best overall survey of condition. I have included as much detail as possible, but likely was not able to capture each individual flaw.
I would recommend this piece for study or display, due to its delicate nature. The chiffon is very fragile.
