Stunning, hand engraved 18k gold locket circa mid-late 19th century.
The floral design features several different kinds of flowers that appear to be thistle, ivy, roses, and forget me nots.
A blank shield on the front can be engraved, and appears to be a different or lower carat rose gold.
Beautiful old paper backing behind the frames.
