One of the most special pieces I’ve ever found, it has been such a pleasure exploring this magical time capsule of fabrics dating from 1893-1894.
This beautiful French swatchbook includes 175 pages and hundreds of different fabrics, silks, velvets, whimsical designs of all kinds, this is truly a one of a kind treasure.
An excellent resource for preservation and study, I am completely in love with it! I especially love the end of the book with the word "Fin!" penciled in at the bottom of the last page :)

Good condition overall with some flaws of note:
- Foxing and discoloration on some pages and the inside covers
- Some wear to some of the fabrics (though most are in excellent condition)
- A few of the swatches have been cut out partially, though it is only on two or three pages
- One of the binding strings is broken, but the binding is still very strong due to all of the others being intact
- Some wear to the cover
