Wonderful dark red-brown velveteen collar circa the turn of the century with an ecru lace trim.
Fastens at the back with four hook and thread closures. Lined with brown polished cotton.
I've taken photos in both natural light and indoor lighting to show the color to the best of my ability, and I have not done any color correcting, but the shade definitely varies depending on the lighting.

Good overall condition with some minor wear, as shown. Wear around the top edge of the collar. A few pinhead sized bare spots in the velveteen and some faint discolorations. Small darkened spot in the lace trim. Presents beautifully and is a very wearable piece.
