I cannot get over the wonderfully vibrant blue color of this wrapper dress, circa 1880s. It is so bright and beautiful!
This dress would have been worn around the house and would be acceptable for receiving guests.
Buttons down the front and has a belt to cinch the waist. Two fabulous, large pockets on either side.
Blue silk faille trimmed with black velvet. Lined with glazed cotton. This is such a luxurious piece!

Overall fair condition, with flaws to note:
- Silk faille has wear and is separating in places
- Wear to undersarms
- Velvet trim has wear
- Mismatched buttons
- Scattered stains
- Wear along the hem
It is a delicate piece and I would not recommend it for wearing. Best as a study, display, or inspiration piece. Please see all photos for best idea of condition, though I may not have been able to capture every flaw.
